GARY J. ORNDORFF – Chairman of the Board
Mr. Orndorff retired from Lincoln General Insurance Co. in 2012 after serving 27 years in various capacities, most recent as President. He continues to remain involved in the industry as an Independent Director and Financial Consultant for a number of insurance companies. He joined the Foundation Board of Directors in 2000.
STEPHEN M. ALTLAND – Secretary/Treasurer
Mr. Altland is the Sr. Vice President of Wealth Management at PeoplesBank. He is responsible for the Wealth Management division. He has over 24 years of diverse experience in the investment management and trust business having worked for several prominent investment management firms. Mr. Altland is also the grandson of Margaret E. Moul and has been involved with the Home for many years. He has served on the Home’s Board since 2003 and is currently the Chairman. He joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2005.
KEN M. WALLICK, Jr. – Real Estate Gift Committee Chairman
Mr. Wallick is retired from his realtor/appraiser business of 50+ years and was certified at the federal, state and county levels. He attended Rider College in Trenton, New Jersey after serving in the Navy Air Corp in World War II. Mr. Wallick is a member of York Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Eagle Fire Co. and the York County Community Foundation. He has been a member or an officer with the York County Council of Realtors, Board of Assessments, Board of View for Eminent Domain and the Board of Selective Service System (draft board). Mr. Wallick remains active in various Masonic organizations. He joined the Home’s Board of Directors in 2003 and the Foundation Board of Director in 2008. He is currently Chairman of the Real Estate Gift Committee of the Foundation.
DR. G. GARY HESS
Dr. Hess is a retired dentist. He practiced dentistry for 40 years as a partner with 1447 Dental Associates of York. He continues to assist in the office throughout the year when the other doctors are on vacation. He volunteers with Community Volunteers in Medicine in West Chester, PA. He received his DDS from the University of PA in 1960 and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He joined the Foundation Board of Directors in 2013.
EVELYN W. LONG
Mrs. Long was asked by her fellow parishioner, Peg Moul, to serve on the Home’s Board of Directors. Little did Mrs. Long know how involved and committed she would become to the Margaret E. Moul Home and the Foundation. She became a Board member for the Moul Home in 1987 and then served as Chairman of the Board from September 1988 through March 1997. She joined the Foundation Board of Directors in 2002.
THOMAS M. SHORB
Attorney Shorb is a partner in the law firm of Stock and Leader and is the Chair of its Estate Practice Group. His practice is focused in the areas of Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Attorney Shorb is a firm believer in the missions of the Margaret E. Moul Home and Foundation and wants to help secure the future by growing the Endowment Fund. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2008.
LES W. BRANT
Les Brant is a retired financial executive. Les’s professional experience includes 35 years at BNYMellon where he progressed to Senior Director, providing wealth management services. He was introduced to Margaret Moul by the late Art Glatfelter, and will combine his passion for the mission of the Margaret E. Moul Home and Foundation with his financial background to help build sustainability. Les has served the York community in various volunteer capacities. He joined the Foundation Board of Directors in 2017.
JEFF S. HAMMEL
Jeff Hammel is the Chief Executive Officer of North Metal and Chemical Company. He began his career with North Metal and Chemical Company in 1997, and became CEO in 2010. Jeff is very active in the York community. He is a member of the Rotary Club of York and serves on the Board of Directors at Olivia’s House. Joining the Board of Directors for the Margaret E. Moul Foundation in 2017, Jeff’s work ethic and knowledge will prove invaluable to advancing the mission of the Foundation.
